For hard enduro, the preferred offset for most professionals riding KTM/Husqvarna/Gas Gas is 5mm Back and 5mm Down.

Paul Bolton, who rides a Beta, opts for a 5mm back offset since he doesn’t have the longest legs, which significantly enhances a trials-style positioning.

The taller the rider, the more advantageous the down offset becomes. For instance, Raptor manufactures a 10mm down, 10mm back version known as the “tallboy” tailored for individuals standing 6ft 3″ and above.
